Acaso pueda decirse, y sin exageraci\u00f3n, que el siglo rom\u00e1ntico, el XIX, fue el siglo de la mujer. Otro tanto ocurri\u00f3 en la Edad Media, en la \u00e9poca de los trovadores y las cortes de amor. El hombre exalta a la mujer y la entroniza, le rinde culto. Ella es su ama y patrona y \u00e9l simple vasallo, y como bien dice Ortega y Gasset se proyecta sobre la relaci\u00f3n sentimental entre ambos sexos la idea de se\u00f1or\u00edo.<\/p>\n<p>El inter\u00e9s que hoy tenga o pueda tener el hombre en la mujer es relativo. La mujer le interesa poco al var\u00f3n. As\u00ed viene ocurriendo desde hace un cuadricenio y la raz\u00f3n de la ocurrencia es la creciente indiferenciaci\u00f3n sexual. Los sexos est\u00e1n despolariz\u00e1ndose, se desdibujan, pierden la claridad de sus perfiles o contornos, tienden a la indeterminaci\u00f3n, no son definidos ni concretos.<\/p>\n<p>La homosexualidad, la bisexualidad, la transexualidad, la metrosexualidad, el androginismo, el unisexismo, el travestismo, lo intersexual, lo fuera de orden, lo irregular, extravagante y extra\u00f1o, todo lo que desdibuja e indetermina en materia sexual, todo esto es lo que hoy adquiere notoriedad.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?attachment_id=11326\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-11326\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-11326\" alt=\"s1_0\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/s1_0-300x200.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/s1_0-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/s1_0.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Para que el hombre se interese de veras en la mujer, y la mujer en el hombre, tiene que haber \u00a0dimorfismo sexual, o sea dos formas o dos aspectos anat\u00f3micos diferentes, uno para cada sexo, y la diferenciaci\u00f3n psicol\u00f3gica \u00a0correspondiente que permita conductas definidas y propias de cada sexo.<\/p>\n<p>No hay que ser muy culto ni perspicaz para comprobar que nuestra especie es cada vez menos dimorfa. D\u00edcese dimorfa \u00a0de la especia animal o vegetal cuyos individuos presentan de modo normal dos formas o aspectos notoriamente diferentes.<\/p>\n<p>En una \u00e9poca como la nuestra, tan entreverada sexualmente, el dimorfismo sexual est\u00e1 desvaneci\u00e9ndose. No hay pues raz\u00f3n ninguna para sorprenderse de que el hombre se interese cada vez menos en la mujer.<a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?attachment_id=11328\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-11328\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-11328\" alt=\"d\u00f3nde est\u00e1n\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/d\u00f3nde-est\u00e1n.jpg\" width=\"188\" height=\"268\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, hay otro hecho incontrovertible que favorece el desinter\u00e9s masculino por la mujer. Me refiero a la escasez de hombres. Las mujeres saben muy bien que los hombres codiciables y apetecibles escasean y que por el contrario ellas abundan y en demas\u00eda. Este asunto lo ha expuesto con gracia y penetraci\u00f3n Eugenia Benfield en su libro, muy recomendable, titulado \u00a1Quedan hombres! \u00bfD\u00f3nde est\u00e1n los m\u00edos?
