Esta atractiva joven, sin embargo, est\u00e1 comprometida con otro: un funcionario del lugar, de car\u00e1cter racional y m\u00e1s bien gris, llamado Albert. Este tri\u00e1ngulo, una vez establecido, coloca a Werther en un callej\u00f3n sin salida, y la imposibilidad de encontrar una soluci\u00f3n feliz le llevar\u00e1 a quitarse la vida.<\/p>\n<p>Una parte de la intriga de la novela ha consistido siempre en su relaci\u00f3n con ciertos hechos reales:\u00a0 la pasi\u00f3n de Goethe por Charlotte Buff, que estaba comprometida con su \u00edntimo amigo Kestner, y el suicidio por amor de otro amigo suyo, Karl Jerusalem (quien pidi\u00f3 a Kestner que le prestara sus pistolas, sin que este sospechara nada).<a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?attachment_id=1540\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1540\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1540\" title=\"desventuras 1\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/desventuras-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"191\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Otro factor del \u00e9xito de la novela fue su logrado manejo del g\u00e9nero epistolar. La narraci\u00f3n se desarrolla inicialmente a trav\u00e9s de las cartas de Werther a un solo corresponsal. Cuando el estado psicol\u00f3gico de este empieza a deteriorarse, interviene un editor ficticio, y la \u00faltima parte de la novela consiste en su edici\u00f3n de los borradores y notas de Werther.<\/p>\n<p>La novela toc\u00f3 una cuerda muy sensible en la \u00e9poca, y su publicaci\u00f3n dio lugar\u00a0 a lo que pod\u00eda llamarse una \u201cWertherman\u00eda\u201d: los supuestos \u201cWerthers\u201d llevaban su chaqueta azul caracter\u00edstica y su chaleco amarillo; incluso hubo un agua de colonia Werther y porcelanas decoradas con escenas de la novela.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?attachment_id=1541\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1541\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1541\" title=\"desventura 2\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/desventura-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"211\" \/><\/a>Cuenta la leyenda que se produjeron tambi\u00e9n suicidios mim\u00e9ticos que alarmaron a Goethe, puesto que su retrato de Werther era m\u00e1s cr\u00edtico que elogioso.
