Al gobierno de G\u00f3mez no le gust\u00f3 las acciones del magisterio, raz\u00f3n por la cual el Ministerio de Instrucci\u00f3n P\u00fablica orden\u00f3 a los maestros a separarse de la SVMIP.<\/p>\n<p>Los docentes siguieron luchando en la clandestinidad por el desarrollo de la educaci\u00f3n venezolana, hasta la muerte del dictador Juan Vicente G\u00f3mez en 1936, cuando se convoc\u00f3 una asamblea nacional de docentes en la que se fund\u00f3 la Federaci\u00f3n Venezolana de Maestros.
