Dar\u00edo Ver\u00f3n y la directiva de su equipo lo niegan pero el afectado y sus compa\u00f1eros, los futbolistas del Am\u00e9rica de M\u00e9xico, mantienen la acusaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Las semifinales entre Am\u00e9rica y Pumas parecieron m\u00e1s un parte de sucesos que un partido de f\u00fatbol. El encuentro podr\u00eda haber sido portada del peri\u00f3dico amarillista Alarma. El \u00e1rbitro acab\u00f3 expulsando a cuatro jugadores, todos del Am\u00e9rica. En la refriega hubo varios encontronazos. El m\u00e1s desagradable, sin duda, es este que implica a Ver\u00f3n y que pone sobre la mesa un debate inc\u00f3modo: \u00bfM\u00e9xico es un pa\u00eds racista?<\/p>\n<p>Los datos revelan la existencia de un problema latente. El 23,3% de los mexicanos no estar\u00eda dispuesto a vivir con una persona de otra raza, seg\u00fan datos de la Encuesta Nacional sobre Discriminaci\u00f3n, y el 28% considera que a personas de otra raza se les trata diferente.<\/p>\n<p>Los inmigrantes son tambi\u00e9n un grupo vulnerable. El 58,1% considera que sus derechos no son respetados en el pa\u00eds y el 20,5% cree que el racismo es el principal problema que enfrentan en M\u00e9xico, solo superado por el desempleo.<\/p>\n<p>La directiva de Las \u00c1guilas, como se conoce al Am\u00e9rica, denunci\u00f3 a Ver\u00f3n ante la Federaci\u00f3n Mexicana de F\u00fatbol por insultos racistas. El Conapred, una instituci\u00f3n que persigue la discriminaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 investigando de oficio el caso. Antonio Sancho, el director deportivo del equipo universitario, ha defendido a su jugador: \u00abDar\u00edo dice que no hizo nada\u00bb. El uruguayo Luis Su\u00e1rez, cuando jugaba en el Liverpool, fue sancionado con ocho partidos por sus insultos racistas al franc\u00e9s Patrice Evra.<\/p>\n<p>Ver\u00f3n es reincidente.
