Un prototipo del tama\u00f1o de un turismo se autopropuls\u00f3 con electroimanes a m\u00e1s de 168,9 kil\u00f3metros por hora a trav\u00e9s de una pista construida en el desierto de Nevada. Hyperloop es una de las compa\u00f1\u00edas que compiten para convertir en una realidad la visi\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica de Elon Musk, fundador de compa\u00f1\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica Tesla Motors, y que propuso el transporte de pasajeros en c\u00e1psulas que viajar\u00e1n por tubos gigantes entre Los \u00c1ngeles y San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p>El Hyperloop es un tren de alta velocidad formado por c\u00e1psulas que circulan sobre un colch\u00f3n de aire a baja presi\u00f3n por t\u00faneles. Todav\u00eda debe debatirse cu\u00e1ndo y c\u00f3mo los pasajeros, y la carga, subir\u00e1n a este sistema que alcance velocidades cercanas a 1.200 kil\u00f3metros por hora. De momento, Hyperloop ya ha logrado una inyecci\u00f3n de 80 millones de d\u00f3lares (70,2 millones de euros) en los que est\u00e1n incluidos promotores de riesgo en tecnolog\u00edas limpias, la empresa de alta velocidad ferroviaria SNCF, o la compa\u00f1\u00eda nacional de ferrocarriles de Francia, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?attachment_id=22495\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-22495\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22495\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Hyperloop1-e1463330578447.jpg\" alt=\"Hyperloop1\" width=\"500\" height=\"279\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el proyecto inicial, hay dos tipos de c\u00e1psulas: una de un di\u00e1metro de m\u00e1s de 2 metros para 28 pasajeros, y otra que transporta tambi\u00e9n tres veh\u00edculos. Hyperloop unir\u00eda las ciudades de San Francisco y Los \u00c1ngeles (es decir, 563 km) en apenas media hora. Y, todo ello, propulsado por energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica. El sistema es inmune al viento, la lluvia, la niebla y el hielo, siempre seg\u00fan su impulsor. Las c\u00e1psulas y motores son la parte menos costosa del proyecto; el grueso del presupuesto es la construcci\u00f3n del tubo.<\/p>\n<p>Brogan BamBrogan, exingeniero de SpaceX y confundador de Hyperloop, considera que la prueba de este mi\u00e9rcoles constituye un hito importante. \u00abLas pruebas de desarrollo de tecnolog\u00eda pueden ser una\u00a0 bestia dif\u00edcil\u00bb, dijo ante unas trescientas personas. \u00abNunca se sabe si un d\u00eda determinado las cosas van a salir exactamente c\u00f3mo quieres\u00bb, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>El prototipo arranc\u00f3 en una v\u00eda de tren y luego se propuls\u00f3 con electroimanes a 168,9 kil\u00f3metros por hora. Tras un peque\u00f1o paseo, se top\u00f3 con una trampa de arena. Si todo va seg\u00fan lo previsto, el prototipo levitar\u00e1 y se realizar\u00e1 otra prueba a escala y a velocidad real en un tubo de dos kil\u00f3metros de longitud a finales de a\u00f1o. Los tubos, a modo de v\u00edas, ya est\u00e1n dispersos en la zona de prueba de Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>El presidente ejecutivo de la empresa, Rob Lloyd anunci\u00f3 que Hyperloop aspira a transportar cargas en 2019 y pasajeros en 2021.
