Por eso se tom\u00f3 esta decisi\u00f3n, que seg\u00fan la compa\u00f1\u00eda, ayuda al medio ambiente pero tambi\u00e9n ofrece ventajas al negocio. Hoy en d\u00eda Google es la corporaci\u00f3n que m\u00e1s energ\u00eda renovable compra, con objetivos a alcanzar los 2,600 megavatios de energ\u00eda solar y de viento.<\/p>\n<p>Para alcanzar ese objetivo Google comprar\u00e1 directamente suficiente electricidad solar y de viento para suplir todas las operaciones que se consumen en todo el mundo. La compa\u00f1\u00eda recalca que en los \u00faltimos seis a\u00f1os, el costo de las energ\u00edas solares y e\u00f3licas ha bajado un 60% y 80% respectivamente, lo cual demuestra que las energ\u00edas renovables se est\u00e1n convirtiendo en la opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mica.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/google-actuara-favor-del-medio-ambiente\/google-y-el-medio-ambiente1\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-24366\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24366\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Google-y-el-medio-ambiente1-e1481212121228.jpg\" alt=\"google-y-el-medio-ambiente1\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cLos costos de electricidad son uno de los componentes m\u00e1s grandes de nuestros gastos de operaci\u00f3n en los centros de datos, y tener un costo estable a largo plazo de energ\u00eda renovable nos protege de los cambios de precio de energ\u00eda\u201d, dice Urs H\u00f6lzle, vicepresidente senior de Google. La compa\u00f1\u00eda ha invertido hasta ahora m\u00e1s de 3.500 millones de d\u00f3lares en infraestructura para energ\u00eda renovable.<\/p>\n<p>Google reiter\u00f3, junto a este anuncio, su compromiso con el medio ambiente. La compa\u00f1\u00eda ha publicado en varias ocasiones su huella de carbono y tambi\u00e9n informaci\u00f3n detallada sobre sus programas de sostenibilidad.
