Las compa\u00f1\u00edas critican que la plataforma de transporte compartido ocultase la filtraci\u00f3n de datos que afect\u00f3 a 57 millones de usuarios de todo el mundo, aunque alaban la transparencia del comunicado de su consejero delegado, Dara Khosrowshahi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-26529 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/uber-e1511781919286.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tras el anuncio de la plataforma de transporte compartido Uber, que ha hecho p\u00fablico en un comunicado una filtraci\u00f3n cibern\u00e9tica que la compa\u00f1\u00eda hab\u00eda mantenido en secreto y que en 2016 afect\u00f3 a los datos personales de 57 millones de sus usuarios y conductores en todo el mundo, las empresas de ciberseguridad alertan de que estos ataques se podr\u00edan volver a repetir y critican que Uber pagase 100.000 d\u00f3lares para que se eliminaran los datos obtenidos y mantuvieran silencio sobre lo ocurrido.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>Uber no es la \u00fanica ni ser\u00e1 la \u00faltima compa\u00f1\u00eda en ocultar una filtraci\u00f3n de datos o un ciberataque. No notificar a los consumidores los expone a un mayor riesgo de ser v\u00edctimas de fraude. Es por esta raz\u00f3n que muchos pa\u00edses est\u00e1n impulsando una regulaci\u00f3n que obligue a las empresas a divulgar las brechas de seguridad<\/em>\u00bb, afirma Ricardo Mat\u00e9, director general de Sophos Iberia.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, desde Sophos Iberia aconsejan a los afectados que \u00ab<em>comprueben sus cuentas bancarias y mantengan los ojos bien abiertos para no ser v\u00edctimas de un robo<\/em>\u00bb, aunque el consejero delegado de Uber, Dara Khosrowshahi, ha asegurado que la compa\u00f1\u00eda tiene \u00ab<em>garant\u00edas<\/em>\u00bb de que los datos obtenidos fueron \u00ab<em>destruidos<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Por este episodio, Uber destituy\u00f3 a su jefe de seguridad, Joe Sullivan, y otra persona responsable de la seguridad de los datos que almacena la compa\u00f1\u00eda. Una decisi\u00f3n que reconocen como un punto positivo desde las firmas de ciberseguridad. A este prop\u00f3sito, Rik Ferguson, vicepresidente de investigaci\u00f3n de seguridad de Trend Micro, manifiesta: \u00ab<em>Es alentador ver al nuevo equipo de gesti\u00f3n aclare la brecha y quiera ser transparente, pero sigo preocupado por algunas de las palabras que aparecen en el blog del Sr. Khosrowshahi<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>No hay duda de que el antiguo equipo de administraci\u00f3n y seguridad de Uber no asumi\u00f3 la responsabilidad con sus conductores, con los reguladores, con la justicia y, sobre todo, con sus clientes, y esta es una lista demasiado larga<\/em>\u00bb, contin\u00faa Ferguson.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-26530 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/cyber-seguridad-e1511782043681.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"425\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>El robo digital no es igual que el f\u00edsico<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El responsable de Trend Micro alerta de que \u00ab<em>aunque algunos de los responsables pueden haber sido silenciados por sus atacantes, el robo digital no funciona de la misma manera que en el mundo f\u00edsico, pues nunca se<\/em> <em>pueden \u00abvolver a recomprar los negativos\u00bb una vez que los datos han sido robados<\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, critica que el m\u00e1ximo responsable de Uber \u00ab<em>parece que separa la infraestructura y sistemas corporativos<\/em>\u00bb del \u00ab<em>servicio de terceros basado en la \u201cnube\u00bb que fue el objetivo de la brecha<\/em>\u00bb, se\u00f1alando que quiz\u00e1 este hecho \u00ab<em>es un indicativo de la ra\u00edz del problema<\/em>\u00bb: \u00ab<em>Los servicios cloud adoptados por una empresa son sistemas corporativos e infraestructura y desde la perspectiva de la seguridad deben ser tratados como tales.
