Si no lo hacen, se enfrentar\u00e1n a sanciones econ\u00f3micas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26717\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/salarios-e1517371434260.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"550\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Si en 2017 Islandia pod\u00eda presumir de ser el pa\u00eds con menor brecha de g\u00e9nero, este a\u00f1o se ha convertido en la primera naci\u00f3n del mundo que pone fin, por ley, a la desigualdad salarial. Desde el 1 de enero las empresas con m\u00e1s de 25 trabajadores deben demostrar que hombres y mujeres cobran el mismo sueldo por el mismo trabajo realizado. Si no hacen, se enfretar\u00e1n a sanciones econ\u00f3micas.<\/p>\n<p>El Landsbanki, el mayor banco del pa\u00eds rescatado por el Estado despu\u00e9s de la crisis financiera de 2008, cuenta con unos 1.000 empleados y ya se ha puesto manos a la obra para adaptase a la nueva normativa.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>Una de las razones fundamentales por la que necesit\u00e1bamos esta ley es que la brecha salarial no es algo que se pueda sentir o ver f\u00e1cilmente. Es muy dif\u00edcil de demostrar<\/em>\u00ab, asegura Elisabet Bj\u00f6rnsdottir, de 34 a\u00f1os, encargada del departamento tesorer\u00eda. No obstante, asegura que nunca se ha sentido discriminada por sus colegas masculinos.<\/p>\n<p>La ley libera de esa carga a los empleados al obligar a las empresas a certificar que se ajustan a las nuevas pol\u00edticas de paridad salarial.<\/p>\n<p>El Landsbankinn tendr\u00e1 que invertir 120.000 euros para ponerse al d\u00eda, pero el responsable de recursos humanos cree que merece la pena.<\/p>\n<p>Brynhildur Omarsdottir, presidenta a la Asociaci\u00f3n Islandesa por los Derechos de la Mujer, destaca que si la ley \u00abno resuelve todo el problema (de la desigualdad de g\u00e9nero), resuelve parte y desde luego una parte crucial\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26718\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/salario1-e1517371559747.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"328\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00abNo nos metamos en eso\u00bb, dice Rajoy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sobre este asunto habl\u00f3 hace unos d\u00edas el presidente del Gobierno espa\u00f1ol, Mariano Rajoy, en una entrevista radiof\u00f3nica. Rajoy descart\u00f3 obligar por ley a las empresas privadas a la equiparaci\u00f3n salarial entre hombres y mujeres. \u00ab<em>No nos metamos en eso<\/em>\u00ab, dijo. Descart\u00f3 que, aunque \u00ab<em>probablemente el ritmo deber\u00eda ser m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido<\/em>\u00ab, las empresas espa\u00f1olas han dado pasos \u00ab<em>en la buena direcci\u00f3n<\/em>\u00bb para reducir la desigualdad de salarios.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el sindicato UGT, las mujeres trabajan gratis 54 d\u00edas al a\u00f1o, un c\u00e1lculo que ha hecho bas\u00e1ndose en los datos provisionales de 2015 publicados por el \u00faltimo informe Eurostat.
