Su actividad como predicador se inici\u00f3 en la ciudad de La Meca, pero all\u00ed sus palabras no fueron bien acogidas por los mercaderes y otros colectivos, por lo que Mahoma decidi\u00f3 huir de su ciudad natal y trasladarse a otro lugar para dar a conocer sus ense\u00f1anzas.<\/p>\n<p>El lugar escogido fue la ciudad de Yathrib, que luego fue denominada como <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Medina\">Medina<\/a> situada a 330 km de La Meca. Este viaje es conocido por los seguidores del Islam como <strong>la H\u00e9gira<\/strong>, un t\u00e9rmino que se podr\u00eda traducir como \u00e9xodo o emigraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La H\u00e9gira en el Islam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Entre los musulmanes, la H\u00e9gira es mucho m\u00e1s que un simple viaje, pues simboliza el comienzo de la expansi\u00f3n del Islam como religi\u00f3n. Por otra parte, en el calendario de los musulmanes los a\u00f1os se empiezan a contar a partir de la H\u00e9gira y por este motivo la abreviatura d. H equivale a despu\u00e9s de la H\u00e9gira. De esta manera, el a\u00f1o 622 de la era cristiana equivale al a\u00f1o 1 del mundo musulm\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>El viaje de Mahoma y un grupo de seguidores a la ciudad de Yathrib signific\u00f3 un nuevo punto de partida para la difusi\u00f3n del Islam. En principio Mahoma fue recibido como un pacificador, pues por entonces los distintos clanes tribales de Yathrib se encontraban inmersos en una permanente rivalidad.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/que-es-hegira\/hegira-camino-meca-medina-mapa-800x678\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28453\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-28453\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Hegira-camino-meca-medina-mapa-800x678-e1531724284930.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"466\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Los fieles que se establecieron en Yathrib conformaron una nueva comunidad y aquello que les un\u00eda no eran los lazos de sangre sino sus creencias, su fe en Dios.<\/p>\n<p>Mahoma consigui\u00f3 que los distintos clanes de Yathrib alcanzaran la paz y por este motivo la ciudad pas\u00f3 a llamarse \u00ab<em>la ciudad del Profeta<\/em>\u00bb o Medina. Mahoma les hab\u00eda ofrecido un mensaje de paz y, al mismo tiempo, un conjunto de principios religiosos inspirados en el Cor\u00e1n. Estos principios son cinco y constituyen los pilares del Islam.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Los cinco pilares del Islam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; El primer pilar o <em>Shabada <\/em>quiere decir que no hay ninguna otra divinidad m\u00e1s que Al\u00e1 y que Mahoma es su verdadero profeta.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; El segundo consiste en rezar cinco oraciones a lo largo del d\u00eda y es conocido como <em>Salat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; El tercero es el <em>Zakat<\/em> y con \u00e9l los musulmanes tienen que dar una parte de los bienes personales a los pobres.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; El cuarto pilar o <em>Hajj<\/em> es al ayuno desde el alba hasta el crep\u00fasculo durante el periodo de Ramad\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; El quinto recibe el nombre de <em>Sawm<\/em> y consiste en visitar la ciudad de La Meca en peregrinaci\u00f3n al menos una vez en la vida.<\/p>\n<p>Estos preceptos o pilares van acompa\u00f1ados de todas aquellas ense\u00f1anzas incluidas en el Cor\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>seryhumano.com<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.definicionabc.com\/religion\/hegira.php\">ABC<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>De acuerdo a los musulmanes, Mahoma es el enviado de Al\u00e1 (Dios) para comunicar a los hombres la verdad del Cor\u00e1n.
