Sin embargo, los ejemplares m\u00e1s antiguos que se conservan proceden del siglo XIV.<\/p>\n<p>Los primeros billetes europeos se fabricaron en Suecia, en el a\u00f1o 1661. Los imprimi\u00f3 el cambista Johan Palmstruch, que los entregaba como recibo o resguardo a quien depositaba oro o plata en el <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Banco_de_Suecia\">Banco de Estocolomo<\/a> que, por cierto, \u00e9l mismo hab\u00eda fundado. A Espa\u00f1a llegaron en 1780, durante el reinado de Carlos III, y su uso se populariz\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente por ser mucho m\u00e1s c\u00f3modo de llevar. As\u00ed no hac\u00eda falta cargar con la famosa bolsa llena de monedas, mucho m\u00e1s llamativa y pesada.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/los-primeros-billetes-de-la-historia\/papel-moneda\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28464\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-28464\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/papel-moneda-e1531726246218.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"278\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Aunque en esencia no deja de ser otro tipo de moneda, en el lenguaje cotidiano reservamos el nombre de moneda para las piezas de metal y el de billete para las de papel. O incluso pl\u00e1stico, material del que se fabrican los billetes de 20 y 50 pesos que circulan desde 2002 en M\u00e9xico.
