Entonces, te has puesto a pensar por qu\u00e9 ocurre esto o quiz\u00e1s que te est\u00e1s poniendo viejito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como todo tiene una raz\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica y este caso\nno es diferente, existe un fen\u00f3meno que explica que tu piel se arrugue en esos\nmomentos, y es la <em>\u00f3smosis<\/em>. Dicho\nproceso es definido por Altajanati, et al. (2009) como la transferencia de agua\ndesde una soluci\u00f3n diluida hasta otra m\u00e1s concentrada a trav\u00e9s de una membrana\npermeable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ver\u00e1n que esta definici\u00f3n no es tan compleja\ncomo parece, y empezaremos diciendo que el cuerpo humano est\u00e1 compuesto por\nagua (disolvente universal) y sales minerales (soluto) que est\u00e1n en constante\nmovimiento desde nuestro cuerpo hacia el exterior y viceversa. Dicho movimiento\nse da a trav\u00e9s de una barrera selectiva que es la membrana de nuestras c\u00e9lulas.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora bien, imag\u00ednate que est\u00e1s en una playa\nhermosa disfrutando de un mar cristalino y tranquilo, te dispones a ba\u00f1arte en\n\u00e9l junto a varios amigos con quienes compartes dentro del agua; justo en ese\nmomento hay dos medios con diferentes concentraciones de sal (tu cuerpo y el\nmar). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cantidad de sal que hay en el mar es mayor a\nla de tu cuerpo, entonces, el agua tiende a moverse hacia donde hay m\u00e1s sal, es\ndecir, hacia el mar para intentar equilibrar dichas concentraciones. Debido a\nese movimiento constante del solvente universal en una sola direcci\u00f3n, tu\ncuerpo pierde agua o lo que es lo mismo, se deshidrata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entonces, la \u00f3smosis permite el movimiento de\nagua en funci\u00f3n de la cantidad de soluto que hay en dos medios diferentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es importante mencionar que si, a esta\ndeshidrataci\u00f3n pr\u00e1cticamente inofensiva, le a\u00f1adimos exposici\u00f3n prologada al\nsol, ingesta de bebidas alcoh\u00f3licas y comida pesada, probablemente estaremos\nponiendo en riesgo el funcionamiento de todos los sistemas pudiendo entrar en\nshock. Por eso en d\u00edas de paseo en playa, piscina, cascada, etc. y sin importar\nsi hay o no sol, es necesario tomar mucha agua o sueros para rehidratar tu\ncuerpo y seguir disfrutando del d\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La \u00f3smosis ocurre siempre en todos los sistemas\nbiol\u00f3gicos y el hombre al conocer esto ha aprovechado la informaci\u00f3n para\nrealizar procesos que lo beneficien; un ejemplo de esto es la <em>\u00f3smosis inversa<\/em> que es utilizada para la\npotabilizaci\u00f3n del agua. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cabeza, E. (2013) menciona la definici\u00f3n de\nFari\u00f1as, M.
