Ese pa\u00eds que era un pa\u00eds de vanguardia\n\u00bfComo puede ser que sea el pa\u00eds empobrecido, ca\u00f3tico, subdesarrollado que es\nhoy? \u00bfQu\u00e9 pas\u00f3? \u00bfAlguien lo invadi\u00f3? \u00bfEstuvieron enfrascados en alguna guerra\nterrible?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No, los argentinos se hicieron eso ellos mismos. Los\nargentinos eligieron a lo largo de medio siglo las peores opciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se entiende eso? Un pa\u00eds con gentes cultas,\nabsolutamente privilegiado, una minor\u00eda de habitantes en un enorme territorio\nque concentra todos los recursos naturales. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 no son el primer pa\u00eds de\nla Tierra? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 no tienen el mismo nivel de vida que Suecia, que Suiza?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Porque los argentinos no han querido. Han querido en cambio\nser pobres. Seguir a \u201c<em>caudillos<\/em>\u201d de pacotilla, \u201c<em>salvadores<\/em>\u201d de\nporquer\u00eda, locos, desquiciados por su mismo odio a todo lo que sea diferente a\nsu locura. Han querido vivir bajo dictaduras, han querido vivir dentro del\nmercantilismo m\u00e1s espantoso. Hay en esto una responsabilidad del pueblo\nargentino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para m\u00ed es espantoso lo que ha ocurrido en Argentina. La\nprimera vez que fui all\u00ed qued\u00e9 maravillado.
