El estudio en cuesti\u00f3n\ndice algo as\u00ed como que hacer ejercicio de forma continuada mejora la salud, y\nreducir la actividad, empeora la condici\u00f3n f\u00edsica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El estudio estuvo a cargo de investigadores de Corea del\nSur, dirigidos por Kyuwoong Kim, doctorando de Ciencias Biom\u00e9dicas de la Escuela\nde Graduados de la Universidad Nacional de Se\u00fal, los cu\u00e1les analizaron a\n1.119.925 hombres y mujeres de 60 a\u00f1os o m\u00e1s, que se sometieron a controles de\nsalud consecutivos por parte del Servicio Nacional de Salud de Corea (NIHS) de\n2009 a 2010 y de 2011 a 2012, con un seguimiento hasta el a\u00f1o 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los participantes respond\u00edan en cada control, preguntas\nacerca de su actividad f\u00edsica y estilo de vida, calcul\u00e1ndose la cantidad de\nejercicio, dividi\u00e9ndola en ejercicio moderado (30 minutos diarios o m\u00e1s\ndedicados a caminar r\u00e1pido, bailar, o realizar labores de jardiner\u00eda) y\nejercicio intenso (20 minutos o m\u00e1s de carrera al d\u00eda, ciclismo, o ejercicio aer\u00f3bico\nen general) a la semana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo a los resultados Kim y sus colegas creen que,\ntras cumplir 60 a\u00f1os, debemos aumentar o al menos mantener la actividad f\u00edsica\nmoderada o intensa, con el objetivo de prevenir las enfermedades cardio y cerebrovasculares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><strong>Se espera que para el a\u00f1o 2050 existan hasta 2.000 millones de individuos mayores de 60 a\u00f1os, por lo que estos datos resultan de una relevancia clave a nivel de salud p\u00fablica. <\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Un aspecto importante de esta investigaci\u00f3n, sin embrago, es\nque solo se llev\u00f3 a cabo con poblaci\u00f3n coreana, por lo que no sabemos si se\npodr\u00eda extrapolar los datos a otras poblaciones; aun as\u00ed si estamos cerca de\nesa edad, mejor comencemos a tener el h\u00e1bito de hacer actividades f\u00edsicas que\nnos proporcionen m\u00e1s y mejores a\u00f1os de vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>seryhumano.com \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kiklikian\">Juan Kiklikian<\/a>*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*Neurocirujano \/\nNeuroendoscopista <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Por Juan Kiklikian \u00a1Tranquilo, no se angustie!, la ciencia dice que hacer ejercicios a esa edad, solo trae beneficios a su salud.
