El baterista y percusionista Miguel Pagua debuta como compositor y prepara su primer disco solista<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nacido en Barquisimeto y reconocido por su excelente labor con el Ensamble 7\/4, el joven baterista y percusionista Miguel Pagua<\/strong> <\/a>vive un momento trascendental en su carrera, ya que est\u00e1 a punto de debutar como compositor con la obra The Glory is for you<\/em><\/strong> que se estrenar\u00e1 en septiembre. Al mismo tiempo, durante el mes pr\u00f3ximo comenzar\u00e1 a trabajar en su primera producci\u00f3n discogr\u00e1fica, con la cual mostrar\u00e1 la forma en c\u00f3mo logr\u00f3 adaptar diversos ritmos venezolanos a la bater\u00eda y su conexi\u00f3n con el jazz latino.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Glory is for you<\/em><\/strong> es una composici\u00f3n escrita para el Ensamble 7\/4 y es un Calipso muy alegre, dividido en 3 partes: la primera expone un tema muy bonito de fiesta, luego viene la segunda parte donde la m\u00fasica cambia a un ritmo de 6\/8 manifestando mis inclinaciones como percusionista y es como un peque\u00f1o himno. La tercera parte trae improvisaciones, inclusive un fragmento de nuestro himno nacional.\u00bb <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa escrib\u00ed de una forma muy personal para darle gracias a Dios por las bendiciones que nos ha dado, tanto a m\u00ed como al Ensamble durante nuestra trayectoria. Es una forma de expresar nuestro agradecimiento y debe estar lista para el p\u00fablico en septiembre<\/em>\u201d, explic\u00f3 Pagua.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sobre su primer disco solista, el m\u00fasico se\u00f1ala que es un proyecto que demanda mucho tiempo y dedicaci\u00f3n debido a la gran riqueza, diversidad y complejidad que tienen las diferentes tendencias de la m\u00fasica tradicional venezolana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son muchos los ritmos que ha adaptado a la bater\u00eda en los diferentes repertorios del Ensamble 7\/4 y su experiencia con la agrupaci\u00f3n ha sido un gran aprendizaje para \u00e9l. En general, el \u00e1lbum a\u00fan sin fecha de lanzamiento tambi\u00e9n tendr\u00e1 un acercamiento al jazz latino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el marco del International Trumpet Guild Conference (ITG) toc\u00f3 como timpanista principal de la ITG Festival Orchestra, donde acompa\u00f1\u00f3 al maestro ruso Sergei Nakariakov<\/strong>, uno de los trompetistas m\u00e1s prestigiosos del mundo.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A principios de 2020 fue invitado a tocar con la Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Punta Gorda, como parte de la fila de percusi\u00f3n y despu\u00e9s como timpanista principal, ganando esta posici\u00f3n para temporada 2020-2021. Desde el 2014 es artista de la famosa marca austriaca Schagerl Drums, convirti\u00e9ndose en uno de sus primeros artistas latinoamericanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su labor como baterista y percusionista ha sido trascendental en el \u00e9xito que ha tenido el Ensamble 7\/4, agrupaci\u00f3n \u00fanica en el mundo por su fusi\u00f3n de m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica, folk venezolano, latinoamericano, pop y jazz en formato de 4 trompetas, cuatro venezolano, contrabajo y bater\u00eda-percusi\u00f3n. Ha realizado giras por EEUU, Argentina, Austria, Brasil, Colombia, Alemania, Italia, Espa\u00f1a y Venezuela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
