Desde el punto de vista del metabolismo, qued\u00f3 claro que sin el gen <b>p66shc<\/b> los ratones no generan las reservas de grasa necesarias para protegerse del fr\u00edo. El gen \u00abperjudicial\u00bb result\u00f3 esencial para la conservaci\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda.
