La poeta estadounidense Louise Gl\u00fcck ha ganado el premio Nobel de Literatura 2020, de acuerdo al secretario permanente de la Academia Sueca, Mats Malm, en la sede de la instituci\u00f3n en Estocolmo. El jurado ha destacado \u201csu inconfundible voz po\u00e9tica, que con austera belleza hace universal la existencia individual\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El premio Nobel de Literatura es el \u00fanico de todos los que se conceden siguiendo el legado de Alfred Nobel cuyo jurado est\u00e1 compuesto por los miembros de la propia Academia Sueca, expertos en lengua y literatura. Su veredicto ha estado en algunas ocasiones envuelto en pol\u00e9micas, como el a\u00f1o pasado, con Peter Handke, a quien le reprocharon su postura en la guerra de los Balcanes, o el anterior, en que las disputas internas -y la acusaci\u00f3n de violaci\u00f3n y corrupci\u00f3n al marido de una acad\u00e9mica, hoy en prisi\u00f3n- suspendieron la proclamaci\u00f3n por primera vez desde la segunda guerra mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Louise Gl\u00fcck naci\u00f3 en Nueva York en 1943. Se gradu\u00f3 en 1961 en la Hewlett High School neoyorquina, y luego asisti\u00f3 al Sarah Lawrence College y a la Universidad de Columbia. Es una de las figuras m\u00e1s relevantes de la poes\u00eda contempor\u00e1nea norteamericana, con t\u00edtulos tan importantes como \u00abArarat\u00bb, \u00abAverno\u00bb, \u00abEl iris salvaje\u00bb, \u00abLas siete edades\u00bb, \u00abPraderas\u00bb, \u00abUna vida de pueblo\u00bb o \u00abVita nova\u00bb, todos ellos publicados en espa\u00f1ol.
