Cuando respiramos, el ox\u00edgeno ingresa a los pulmones, atraviesa membranas delgadas y entra en el torrente sangu\u00edneo, donde luego es recogido por los gl\u00f3bulos rojos y transportado por el cuerpo a varios \u00f3rganos.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/como-tratar-en-casa-una-infeccion-de-leve-a-moderada-de-covid-19\/\">C\u00f3mo tratar en casa una infecci\u00f3n de leve a moderada de COVID-19<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agreg\u00f3 que, \u201cun ox\u00edmetro de pulso es un dispositivo diminuto que generalmente se desliza sobre la yema del dedo o se sujeta en el l\u00f3bulo de la oreja y utiliza la refracci\u00f3n de la luz infrarroja para medir precisamente qu\u00e9 tan bien se une el ox\u00edgeno a los gl\u00f3bulos rojos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los ox\u00edmetros nos informan entonces sobre los niveles de ox\u00edgeno en sangre. De 90 a 95 son niveles normales todav\u00eda, pero por debajo de 90 ya podemos decir que existe un nivel bajo de saturaci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El experto explic\u00f3 que el nuevo coronavirus que causa COVID-19 ingresa al cuerpo a trav\u00e9s del sistema respiratorio, causando una lesi\u00f3n directa en los pulmones a trav\u00e9s de la inflamaci\u00f3n, la cual puede afectar negativamente la forma en que se transfiere el ox\u00edgeno al torrente sangu\u00edneo. Este deterioro de ox\u00edgeno puede ocurrir en m\u00faltiples etapas de COVID-19, y no s\u00f3lo en para pacientes en estado cr\u00edtico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De hecho, \u201chay un fen\u00f3meno que hemos observado cl\u00ednicamente en el que una persona con COVID-19 puede tener niveles muy bajos de ox\u00edgeno, pero, por lo dem\u00e1s, lucir bien, denominado hipoxia feliz. Es preocupante porque estos pacientes pueden estar mucho m\u00e1s enfermos de lo que se sienten.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, no todas las personas que dan positivo por COVID-19 desarrollar\u00e1n niveles bajos de ox\u00edgeno.
