Hasta ahora, ya que un equipo de cient\u00edficos estadounidenses, con participaci\u00f3n de una investigadora espa\u00f1ola, ha logrado generar c\u00e9lulas madre con el mismo ADN que un adulto \u2013clonadas\u2013, que luego podr\u00edan utilizarse con fines terap\u00e9uticos.<\/p>\n<p>Este avance, publicado en la revista<i>Cell<\/i>, abre un nuevo camino para entender las causas espec\u00edficas de la enfermedad de un paciente y para desarrollar terapias personalizadas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNuestro descubrimiento permitir\u00e1 generar c\u00e9lulas madre para pacientes con \u00f3rganos o tejidos da\u00f1ados\u201d, asegura uno de los autores, Shoukhrat Mitalipov, de la Health &amp; Science University de Oreg\u00f3n (EE UU). De esta forma se podr\u00edan regenerar tejidos u \u00f3rganos completos, sustituyendo las c\u00e9lulas da\u00f1adas por otras nuevas.<a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?attachment_id=3654\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3654\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-3654\" alt=\"clonaci\u00f3n 1\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/clonaci\u00f3n-1.jpg\" width=\"265\" height=\"190\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>El hallazgo ha sido posible gracias a la t\u00e9cnica de <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.agenciasinc.es\/Multimedia\/Infografias\/Como-reparar-organos-o-tejidos-danados\" target=\"_blank\">transferencia nuclear de c\u00e9lulas som\u00e1ticas<\/a><\/b>\u00a0(SCNT por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), la misma que dio lugar a la oveja Dolly, aunque en este caso no se trata de clonar a un ser vivo.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Todos los intentos en humanos hab\u00edan fracasado hasta ahora<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>La\u00a0t\u00e9cnica\u00a0consiste en transferir el n\u00facleo de una c\u00e9lula donante a un \u00f3vulo. De esta forma se genera un embri\u00f3n casi id\u00e9ntico al donante original. Esto permite generar cualquier tipo celular que sea necesario.<\/p>\n<p>En el pasado, muchos investigadores hab\u00edan utilizado la SCNT para producir c\u00e9lulas madre embrionarias en ratones y monos. Sin embargo, todos los intentos por conseguir el mismo resultado en humanos hab\u00edan fracasado hasta ahora, al no conocerse los factores que promueven el desarrollo embrionario por SCNT.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?attachment_id=3655\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3655\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3655\" alt=\"clonaci\u00f3n 2\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/clonaci\u00f3n-2-156x300.jpg\" width=\"156\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/clonaci\u00f3n-2-156x300.jpg 156w, https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/clonaci\u00f3n-2.jpg 162w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 156px) 100vw, 156px\" \/><\/a>Mitalipov y su equipo optimizaron los protocolos para obtener estas c\u00e9lulas en monos.
