{"id":37331,"date":"2021-05-25T17:31:33","date_gmt":"2021-05-25T22:01:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?p=37331"},"modified":"2021-05-25T17:45:41","modified_gmt":"2021-05-25T22:15:41","slug":"reduccion-historica-de-influenza-y-gripe-por-uso-de-cubreboca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?p=37331","title":{"rendered":"Reducci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica de influenza y gripe por uso de cubreboca"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>El cubrebocas no solo protege contra COVID-19 sino que ha reducido la gripe com\u00fan y la influenza a niveles hist\u00f3ricos en el mundo entero.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Reduccion-historica-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Reducci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica\" class=\"wp-image-37332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Reduccion-historica-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Reduccion-historica-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Reduccion-historica-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Reduccion-historica.jpg 1277w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfSab\u00edas que el cubrebocas no solo te protege contra el COVID-19, sino contra gripe e influenza A y B tambi\u00e9n?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En M\u00e9xico y en el mundo, el uso del cubrebocas, adem\u00e1s de las medidas de seguridad como el distanciamiento social, el lavado de manos y el uso de gel antibacterial han sido fundamentales no s\u00f3lo para disminuir las infecciones por COVID-19, pero m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de eso, expertos del Hospital Houston Methodist afirman que estas medidas de seguridad han ayudado a la reducci\u00f3n de casos de gripe estacional o influenza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1910, los chinos usaron el cubrebocas para prevenir la tercera plaga bub\u00f3nica y en 1918, se usaron por todo el mundo para protegerse de la pandemia ocasionada por la gripe espa\u00f1ola, entonces como puedes ver, adem\u00e1s de que su uso no es nada nuevo, se puede considerar como un aliado en la prevenci\u00f3n.(1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS), el uso de cubrebocas o mascarillas forma parte de un conjunto integral de medidas de prevenci\u00f3n y control que pueden limitar la propagaci\u00f3n de determinadas enfermedades respiratorias causadas por virus, en particular el COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sirven tambi\u00e9n para proteger a las personas sanas al entrar en contacto con una persona infectada o para el control de fuentes, si una persona infectada la utiliza para no contagiar a otros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>La influenza A y B han bajado este a\u00f1o en Estados Unidos de una manera realmente hist\u00f3rica<\/em>\u201d, explic\u00f3 el Dr. Wesley Long, director m\u00e9dico de microbiolog\u00eda de diagn\u00f3stico en el Hospital Houston Methodist. \u201c<em>Esto tambi\u00e9n se vio en la temporada de gripe del hemisferio sur que nos precede<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y no es s\u00f3lo la gripe.
