Interpretado por el Ballet de Santiago<\/a> y la Orquesta Filarm\u00f3nica de Santiago<\/a>, esta creaci\u00f3n escrita en dos actos basada en la coreograf\u00eda original de Jules Perrot y Jean Coralli, en la versi\u00f3n coreogr\u00e1fica de Luis Ortigoza<\/a>, actual director art\u00edstico de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giselle es la quinta esencia del ballet rom\u00e1ntico: una historia donde las emociones son centrales, donde hay un amor tr\u00e1gico, as\u00ed como personajes y mundos reales que se confunden con otros fant\u00e1sticos como cementerios, bosques y noches de luna llena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A diferencia de ballets populares y que, sin embargo, fueron rechazados en su estreno, Giselle triunf\u00f3 desde la primera funci\u00f3n llegando al coraz\u00f3n del p\u00fablico, tanto por su historia como por su m\u00fasica y mensaje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amor, muerte y fantas\u00eda son los motivos argumentales de este ballet. Giselle y Loys se aman profundamente, pero \u00e9l esconde un gran secreto: vestido de campesino oculta su verdadera identidad: es el duque Albrecht y est\u00e1 comprometido con Bathilde. Cuando Giselle descubre la traici\u00f3n, su d\u00e9bil coraz\u00f3n falla sin vuelta atr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La chica muere y se une a las Willis, esp\u00edritus de mujeres despechadas que murieron traicionadas por sus novios y que buscan venganza, haciendo bailar a los hombres que salen a su camino hasta morir de agotamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La presente versi\u00f3n de Luis Ortigoza, recoge el esp\u00edritu de la coreograf\u00eda original, respetando la tradici\u00f3n. El artista dice que \u00abla invitaci\u00f3n es ver lo que el amor es capaz de lograr desde el m\u00e1s all\u00e1<\/em>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
