All\u00ed el <b>Libertador <\/b>decidi\u00f3 agrupar el mayor n\u00famero de fuerzas patriotas, convocando a las fuerzas de Urdaneta desde Maracaibo. De Cruz Carrillo desde Trujillo y de P\u00e1ez desde Achaguas. Mientras tanto, Berm\u00fadez atacaba a Caracas desde Oriente, distrayendo al enemigo. Luego de una serie de brillantes medidas t\u00e1cticas adoptadas por Bol\u00edvar, los ej\u00e9rcitos realistas desprevenidos y atacados de frente por la infanter\u00eda y por la derecha por la caballer\u00eda, optaron por la retirada. Bol\u00edvar reorganiz\u00f3 el <b>ej\u00e9rcito republicano <\/b>en tres divisiones.<a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/y-con-esta-batalla-venezuela-se-convirtio-en-tierra-libre\/carabobo\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4145\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4145\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/carabobo-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"carabobo\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/carabobo-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/carabobo.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Al entrar la batalla en su fase final, los patriotas iniciaron una tenaz persecuci\u00f3n del ej\u00e9rcito espa\u00f1ol, la cual fue llevada a cabo hasta Valencia. Los patriotas marchaban a Carabobo con entusiasmo, confiados en que esa batalla les conceder\u00eda definitivamente la independencia. De los 4.279 efectivos que participaron en la <b>batalla de Carabobo<\/b>, los realistas perdieron dos oficiales superiores, 120 subalternos y 2.786 soldados. Por su parte, las bajas de los republicanos tambi\u00e9n fueron cuantiosas. El resto del ej\u00e9rcito realista termin\u00f3 refugi\u00e1ndose en Puerto Cabello, mientras Bol\u00edvar prosigui\u00f3 su <b>marcha hacia Caracas<\/b> cargado de gloria.
