Nacido en Argelia y criado bajo estricta formaci\u00f3n cat\u00f3lica, Louis Althusser emigr\u00f3 a Francia con su familia a los 12 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>En 1939 ingres\u00f3 a la Escuela Normal Superior de Par\u00eds, donde lleg\u00f3 a ser profesor de Filosof\u00eda. Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial fue capturado y encarcelado por los nazis desde 1940 hasta 1945. Dos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde fue diagnosticado con psicosis man\u00edaco-depresiva e internado en un hospital psiqui\u00e1trico. V\u00edctima de peri\u00f3dicas crisis, en el transcurso de su vida fue recluido alrededor de 20 veces.<a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?attachment_id=4736\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4736\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4736\" alt=\"Althusser 2\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Althusser-2.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A partir de 1978 su estado se agrav\u00f3, y el 16 de noviembre de 1980 estrangul\u00f3 a su esposa. Fue internado en un sanatorio mental por el crimen y exculpado por su enfermedad ps\u00edquica.<\/p>\n<p>Referente acad\u00e9mico del Partido Comunista Franc\u00e9s, Althusser fue reconocido en el siglo XX como una de las m\u00e1ximas figuras del marxismo y el estructuralismo, gracias a ensayos como <i>La revoluci\u00f3n te\u00f3rica de Marx<\/i> y <i>Para leer El capital<\/i> (ambos publicados en 1965).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?attachment_id=4734\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4734\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4734\" alt=\"la-revolucion-teorica-de-marx-\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/la-revolucion-teorica-de-marx--199x300.jpg\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/la-revolucion-teorica-de-marx--199x300.jpg 199w, https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/la-revolucion-teorica-de-marx-.jpg 333w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 199px) 100vw, 199px\" \/><\/a>Aunque en sus \u00faltimos a\u00f1os sufri\u00f3 un intenso deterioro f\u00edsico y mental, escribi\u00f3 una autobiograf\u00eda que ser\u00eda editada p\u00f3stumamente bajo el t\u00edtulo <i>El porvenir es largo<\/i>. Althusser muri\u00f3 de un infarto en un centro psiqui\u00e1trico de La Verriere (Francia).
