Influido por Dostoievski, Hamsun desarrolla un tipo de individualismo nietzscheano que se rebela tanto contra el naturalismo como contra la pol\u00edtica literaria progresista asociada a Ibsen.<\/p>\n<p>La angustia de <i>Hambre<\/i> imagina los paisajes urbanos alienados de Kafka, pero con una insistencia sobre las tensiones entre la econom\u00eda cotidiana y el ensue\u00f1o coloquial que ser\u00edan dignos de James Kelman.<\/p>\n<p>Narrada con el apremio de un tiempo presente fam\u00e9lico, la novela describe las fases de degradaci\u00f3n del narrador mientras este intenta ganarse la vida mediante la escritura.
