Manning afirm\u00f3 en su estudio que la longitud relativa de los dedos de los hombres y mujeres se diferencia: ellas tienen el anular y el \u00edndice de una longitud parecida, mientras que los hombres presentan mayores diferencias.<\/p>\n<p>Intrigado por el tema, Snow abri\u00f3 un libro sobre las pinturas rupestres que conten\u00eda im\u00e1genes de la famosa cueva francesa Pech Merle,<i>\u00a0adornada<\/i>\u00a0con decenas de siluetas de manos, uno de los motivos m\u00e1s antiguos de las pinturas rupestres. \u00abMir\u00e9 las siluetas de las manos y pens\u00e9 que si Manning sabe lo qu\u00e9 dice, entonces casi seguramente son manos femeninas\u00bb, dijo Snow a la revista\u00a0<i>National Geographic<\/i>.<a href=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/?attachment_id=8186\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8186\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-8186\" alt=\"manos_castillo--644x362\" src=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/manos_castillo-644x362-300x168.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/manos_castillo-644x362-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seryhumano.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/manos_castillo-644x362.jpg 644w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>El cient\u00edfico investig\u00f3 cientos de siluetas de manos en ocho cuevas de Francia y Espa\u00f1a. Pero la mayor\u00eda de las im\u00e1genes no eran suficientemente claras para ser analizadas. En total la investigaci\u00f3n abarc\u00f3 treinta y dos siluetas, la mitad de ellas de la cueva El Castillo, en Cantabria, y las otras de cuevas francesas como Gargas y Pech Merle, y determin\u00f3 que veinticuatro de las treinta y dos manos -el 75 %- pertenec\u00eda a mujeres.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEn la mayor\u00eda de las sociedades de cazadores-recolectores, son los hombres los que hacen la matanza.
