The ball is lofted into the box and Gekas hits a snap shot at goal on the turn, it breaks out to Sokratis, who stays up front after a late run into the box and slams the finish home emphatically. Incredible scenes of joy in Recife for the Greeks, but heartbreak for the Costa Ricans. They’ll have to raise themselves for extra time.
